REFLECTIONS FROM EUROPE

A dream of mine since childhood was to travel; wherever and whenever I could. Somehow that dream was put on hold while I got caught up in a life that included marriage, children and work, work & more work. Now, happily retired from our 8-5's, I am able to try out those dreams. My husband, Robert, has kindly agreed to take part in these journeys with me.

Thanks to opening up our home to others as a short-term rental, we are now able to travel when our guests rent out our entire property. We enjoy offering them a comfortable and relaxing place to call their home while they are on vacation, here for business or for any other occasion. Thanks each and every one of you for helping to make my (and Robert too) dreams come true.

For the past eight months I have been researching our four month trip to Europe. What started out as four weeks has morphed into four months. Yikes!

Our adventure is two-fold. To visit places we have never been to, and to document our journey in some way. This blog will be the way we share the adventure for now.

We will be staying in short-term rentals the entire trip. Some will have hosts on sight and others will be an owner owned vacation rental. Either way I will have something to say about the specifics of the places where we are staying. Along with that Robert and I will be posting about the other interesting subjects we find while we are on this adventure. I'm sure there will be many.

That being said, the count-down has begun...21 days to departure.
