TAKE A MOMENT TO GET TO KNOW US :)
Robert & I retired from our day to day careers in 2011.
Our decision to move to the desert was two-fold. First, we had tired of the climate of Washington State having lived there most of our lives. Secondly, we knew we would be unable to remain in our Washington home due to the increasing cost of living in the Seattle area.
Our thought of moving to a new place where we knew no one was met with anticipation. Where would we live? How would we adjust to our new environment? Could we make new friends in a place where we knew no one? Were we crazy for making such a drastic change? Would we regret our decision?
ONE, TWO, THREE... GO!
Throwing caution to the wind, we set our plan in motion:
Pack and unpack
Welcome to the desert of Arizona!
Since we wanted to spend as much time as possibletraveling to places we had not been to, we plotted a plan to make it happen. This is when we decided to open our home to others. People could rent our home when we set out on our adventures or rent a private room/bath and share the common areas of the property with us. Whichever way, they are helping to fund our travel adventures.
We love sharing our home with other. Options offered are to rent a private bedroom & bathroom, while sharing the common areas of the property with us, or renting out the entire 3 bedroom 2 bath villa in its entirety.
